Blood, Sweat & Tears is a jazz-rock American music group. They are noted for their combination of brass and rock band instrumentation. The group recorded songs by rock/folk songwriters such as Laura Nyro, James Taylor, The Band and the Rolling Stones as well as Billie Holiday and Erik Satie. They also incorporated music from Thelonious Monk and Sergei Prokofiev into their arrangements.

To start with the obvious, they were the greatest and most influential act of the rock era, and they introduced more innovations into popular music than any other group of their time. Formed 1968 in New Jersey as Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show, disbanded in 1985. Their name was shortened in 1975 to Dr. Hook.

My Morning Jacket Hailed as the new heroes of the alt-country scene when they debuted in the late 1990s, My Morning Jacket have matured into an eclectic, sonically diverse ensemble whose work encompassed indie rock, psychedelia, folk, blues, and even dashes of funk and prog rock. A 25x14cm booklet said to be "Limited Bookset 126/350".This great bootleg I just found in a very small record shop for 65Ђ while on summer holidays in the south of France.Seems to me to be an upgrade to what's been uploaded yet, but I let you listen to it and judge by yourself.I find these are tremendous shows in which Bowie plays two different sets with almost all the songs used during the first part of the tour.Sorry for the artwork, I couldn't scan it my scanner being out of order. so I simply took photos of it, think it'll be alright though…

Dr. Hook is a typical band that everyone has a number of hits to sing along. Not surprising, because between 1971 and 1983 the band scored no fewer than 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, 6 of which reached the top 10. Also in Europe, the band was immensely popular. In England, the band also scored six top 10 hits and 11 singles in the Netherlands took the hit list, three of which reached the top three. All the singles that the band released in that period, together with a number of essential album tracks come together on the first two discs of this "Dr. Collected Hook, "including" Sylvia's Mother ',' Sharing The Night Together "," When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman ',' A Little Bit More "and" Baby Makes Her Blue Jeans Talk. On the third disc are again collected some rarities, which many now appear for the first time on CD and two songs are completely available for the first time. Unique is the track 'Sylvia's Father, "in which half the evergreen story suddenly switches from' Mother 'to' Father '. This live version was recorded in 1974 in Amsterdam. Also 'The Cover Of Radio Times' has never been commercially available. These appear for the first time on CD, like some B-sides of singles and 12 "versions.

The Smashing Pumpkins Alt-rock icons the Smashing Pumpkins are recognized for their amalgam of progressive rock, heavy metal, goth, psychedelia, and dream pop; a layered, powerful style driven by swirling, distorted guitars that churned beneath lead singer/songwriter Billy Corgan's angst-ridden lyrics. One of the most visible bands of '90s, alongside grunge acts like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins achieved mainstream success over the decade with classic releases Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. After a foray into electronic rock on Adore, Corgan issued a final pair of efforts before putting the group to sleep for an extended early-2000s hiatus that ended with 2007's Zeitgeist.

Bruce Springsteen Bruce Springsteen once said he intended to make an album with words like Bob Dylan that sounded like Phil Spector with vocals like Roy Orbison's, a nifty summary of many, but not all, of his artistic ambitions and a key to his appeal. Unlike any other singer/songwriters saddled with the appellation of "the new Dylan" in the early '70s, Springsteen never hid how he was raised on '60s AM radio. He loved rock & roll, whether it was the initial blast from the '50s or the mini-symphonies from the days before the Beatles or the garage rockers that surfaced in the wake of the British Invasion, and all this could be heard within his wild, wooly collective E Street Band, a group who debuted on his second album, 1973's The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle, and who would support him throughout most of his career.

Considering his last genuine hit was way back in 1997, Michael Bolton's back catalog has been the subject of a surprisingly high number of compilations. If you're wondering what 2012 collection Gems: The Very Best Of can offer what the other 20-odd flooding the market haven't already, the answer is not a lot. Indeed, apart from the substitution of "That's What Love Is All About" for his take on Bill Withers' "Lean on Me," its 17 tracks are exactly the same as his hugely successful Greatest Hits 1985-1995 (albeit in a different order). It therefore means that the 11 studio albums he's recorded since are entirely ignored, but with only one of his 17 U.S. Top 40 hits ("Go the Distance") charting outside that time frame,

Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show (shortened to Dr. Hook in 1975) was an American rock band, formed in Union City, New Jersey. They enjoyed considerable commercial success in the 1970s with hit singles including "Sylvia's Mother", "The Cover of 'Rolling Stone'" (both 1972), "Only Sixteen" (1975), "A Little Bit More" (1976), "Sharing the Night Together" (1978), "When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman" (1979), "Better Love Next Time" (1979), and "Sexy Eyes" (1980). In addition to their own material, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show performed songs written by the poet Shel Silverstein.
The band had eight years of regular chart hits in the United States, where their music was played on top-40, easy listening, and country music outlets, and throughout the English-speaking world including the UK, Canada and South Africa. Their music spanned several genres, mostly novelty songs and acoustic ballads in their early years, though their greatest success came with their later material, mostly consisting of disco-influenced soft rock, which the band recorded under the shortened name Dr. Hook.

Complete recording of the debut 45th anniversary performance held at the Tokyo International Forum on October 21, 2023, as well as backyard interviews and documentary footage. Former members who have participated in music activities for 45 years have gathered together to create a video of a one-time gorgeous reunion-like festival between T-SQUARE, which still reigns at the top of its field, and the top artists who supported it! The group soon landed a deal with Columbia Records, which enlisted producer David Rubinson to capture the band playing the Fillmore West in December; these tapes were shelved until Columbia/Legacy issued them in 1997 as Live at the Fillmore 1968. Prior to recording their first album in early 1969, Santana swapped Livingston and Malone for Michael Shrieve and Mike Carabello, adding percussionist José Chepitó Areas as well. This incarnation recorded the group's eponymous debut, then set out on tour, where they had a career-making appearance at the Woodstock festival in August 1969. That was the same month Santana appeared in the record stores, and it was a swift success, climbing its way to number four on Billboard's album charts during the course of its two-year run on the charts.

Best known as one-half of the groundbreaking synth pop duo Eurythmics, Dave Stewart was also a highly successful producer and, on occasion, a solo artist.
