I have read almost all of the books in this series and this one was a good addition. I really like how Donald Bain writes and especially enjoy the stories set in England and Scotland where Jessica meets her love interest George! I wonder if these two will ever start a life together? This story is set at New Years and involves a castle, an Earl and Countess and of course, a murder or two! I just love when George calls Jessica, a woman of a certain age, lass. While I figured out who did it a few chapters before the announcement, the journey to the end was fun and entertaining. Highly recommended and even if you were not that big of a fan of the show, Murder She Wrote, the books are simply great!
