Choosing a career is eas ily one of the most im por tant things you will do in the next few years. Much of what you have done in high school and most of what you will do in col lege will likely in flu ence what you do as an adult. Up un til now, you have mostly cho sen to do things that you en joy. Make a few good de ci sions in the com ing years and there will be no rea son to stop en joy ing your self.
And that’s an im por tant point. Some peo ple make their lives hap pen, while oth ers merely let life hap pen to them. Be one of the first kind of people and your chances of lead ing a happy life are much higher than if you wait around to see what life sends your way. No mat ter how many un planned curve balls come your way, no body controls your des tiny as much as you do.
