I'd give it "minus" 5 star, if there were such an option. This is one of the worst books i've ever read. The whole book is like a jumble of unrelated, unedited, messy paragraphs, and there is absolutely no coherent logic in the text, the author seems to be jumping around in a confused world, writing down anything that happens to come to mind, without any effort to put things in order. He keeps making references to concepts never properly defined, or, at best, points you to another book. Typically it goes like this: First let's have a look at this..., now let's do that..., by the way have a look at figure 3, oh, hold on, this is not good, actually, you see.., ok, forget it. It's quite obvious ..., but now lets turn our attention to ..., don't worry, this will be explained in Chapter 5. A blah blah (refer to Chapter 3) is shown here.... OMG, is this a book or a stack of scrap paper? I know the author's native language is not english, but that doesnt give him the right to publish this junk. Also i'm curious about who wrote that one liner first review? giving it a 5-star. it certainly doesn't seem to be from someone with the intelligence to study parallel programming.
