Full-color stamp images and a massive number of value changes highlight the improvements made in Volume 1 of the 2006 Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue. The crispness and clarity of the images has been greatly enhanced by the new stock used to print the catalogue pages. More than 56,000 value changes are recorded in Volume 1. That is the greatest number of value changes in one volume since the catalogue went to six volumes more than nine years ago. Changes are widespread throughout the catalogue, with almost 23,000 recorded for British Commonwealth countries and more than 27,500 for non-British A-B Countries.
