The aim of this book is to focus on the radiology of abdomen and pelvis. Abdominal and pelvic anatomy encompasses the anatomy of all structures of the abdominal and pelvic cavities. The abdomen (less formally called the belly, stomach, tummy or midriff) constitutes the part of the body between the thorax (chest) and pelvis, in humans and in other vertebrates. The region occupied by the abdomen is termed the abdominal cavity. The pelvis (plural pelvis or pelvises) is either the lower part of the trunk of the human body between the abdomen and the thighs (sometimes also called pelvic region of the trunk) or the skeleton embedded in it (sometimes also called bony pelvis, or pelvic skeleton). This book consists of 12 chapters which discusses about the anatomy of abdomen and pelvis, pediatric abdomen, acute abdomen, gastrointestinal tract, hepatobiliary system, pancreas, renal system, adrenals, retroperitoneum, obstetrics, gynecology and male reproductive organs. This book provides the students with strength, determination, confidence and this is what matters when the postgraduate students prepare to undertake the examination, not only in radiology, but also for other clinical subjects as, today, radiology occupies the center stage in concluding the diagnosis. It is very useful for all residents and general practitioners. It is also meant for medical colleges, institutional and departmental libraries.
