This course is not about trading or economics but rather designed for those who want practical information on where to begin and how to start using bitcoin. By the end of this course, you'll understand the basics of: what is a blockchain, what is bitcoin mining, what are the different types of wallets, how to send and receive bitcoin, what are the different options for storing your bitcoin, how to monitor your transactions, as well as see demonstrations of sending and receiving on both the blockchain and the lightning network. This course does not provide instructions on how to use any specific wallet software since those instructions would become out of date quickly, but it will provide you with the knowledge necessary to begin using bitcoin on your own.
