Business Result: Pre-Intermediate

Business Result is a five-level business English course that gives students the communication skills they need for immediate use at work. Business Result helps those who need to communicate better in English at work, by teaching a range of business communication skills. Business Result DVD edition features video clips for every unit, including documentary clips, authentic interviews and dramatized scenarios showcasing business communication skills. Tips and advice from the Cranfield School of Management introduces an authoritative business perspective, and applies professional theory to real situations.

1. Minimum system requirements

- Windows XP, Vista, 7
- Intel® Pentium® III 450MHz or faster processor (or equivalent)
- 128 MB RAM
- 400 MB available hard disk space
- Monitor capable of 1024 x 768 resolution recommended.
- Sound card with speakers / headphones and a microphone
- DVD-ROM drive

- PowerPC® G4 500MHz or faster processor
- 128 MB RAM

2. Running the application

For Windows®
Ensure that Windows® XP, Vista or 7 is running with no other applications open.
Insert the Business Result DVD-ROM into your DVD-ROM drive.
The application should start automatically.
If it does not start automatically, then do the following:
- Open My Computer/Computer.
- Double-click on the Business Result DVD-ROM icon.
- Double-click on the start.exe icon.

For Mac®
Ensure that MacOS 10.5, 10.6 or 10.7 is running with no other applications open.
Insert the Business Result DVD-ROM into your DVD-ROM drive.
Double-click the Business Result DVD-ROM icon that will appear on the desk top.
Double-click on the Start icon
The application should now start.
