Business Consulting Project Management Areas

Project management is an integrated process. Actions (or lack thereof) in one direction usually affect other directions as well. This relationship forces a balance between the objectives of the project - often an improvement in one area can only be achieved at the expense of deterioration in another. For a better understanding of the integrated nature of project management, this paper discusses various aspects of project management and their relationship. The purpose of the work is such a presentation of the basics of project management, which takes into account Russian features and at the same time complies with the standards accepted in the world.
The manual proposes a modern project approach to the organization of agricultural business, provides a systematic review of project management methods. The project management technologies are described in detail, taking into account the specifics of agriculture, the foundations is laid for the correct selection and organization of the work of the project manager, the project team, and the determination of the necessary work on the project. Opportunities, basic methods of working with software in project management, examples of project implementation in MS Project, organization of business consulting in the field of project management in the agri-food sector as an example of a project are considered. The issues of interaction between the participants of the project team and the development of the necessary set of documents for the project are outlined.
