As a result, this dictionary includes more than 7,100 colloquial Fuzhou words and phrases that are currently in active use by all age groups. In the few cases in which a dying word is listed, the entry is noted as <obeo> (obsolete). The dictionary also includes over 5,500 exmples of usage. This dictionary includes entries of colloquial words and phrases. It does not include those non-colloquial words that share the same Chinese characters with the official language. Mandarin Chinese.
