Michael Carson is one of Southern California’s top fitness trainers.
His personal and group workouts are lauded by both exercise enthusiasts and professionals worldwide.
Michael has just launched "Get Sexy" The ultimate woman's workout series and is featured on Carmen Electra’s #1 selling video Fit To Strip—which he also co-hosts. As a choreographer and host, Michael has designed and appeared in programming for Fit TV, and Exercise TV shows such as: Healthy Lifestyle Solutions, The Cable Health Club, and Body By Jake’s– 10 minute Trainer. He’s also has made multiple TV appearances on News and talk shows such as The Megan Mullalley show, EXTRA, The TV Guide Channel, ABC, CBS and Fox news. Michael with his workout "Ball Force" was also featured on the Home Shopping Network.
Michael created the intense workouts or Paula Abdul's Cardio Cheer Fitness Series, and the body perfecting workouts for the newly released ENVY Series, Surfer Girl, and My Mobile Minute workouts series. His impressive resume also includes: The Lethal Series, Michael Carson’s Power Step Workout, Michael Carson’s Ooofball workout, and the Ultimate Club Workout featuring male Super Model, Owen Mckibben.
In addition to his DVD work, and television guest appearances, Michael has taken time to create fitness workouts for a wide array of companies such as: Equinox Fitness, Body by Jake, The Spectrum Clubs, The Sports Club Company, Reebok, Kathy Smith and the YMCA.
Michael prides himself on taking an innovative approach to fitness. His creative teaching style has made him and kept him one of LA’s hottest group exercise instructors. His packed classes have been held at fitness hotspots spots Equinox Fitness, Sports Club LA, Spectrum Clubs Inc., and Gold’s Gym.
While consulting for Reebok International, Carson assisted in the launch of the Power Step workout in Los Angeles and has traveled internationally introducing his own workouts and the amazing Power Plate. He was the group exercise and personal training Director for Kathy Smith’s progressive MEZZEPLEX Fitness Complex in West LA and began his teaching career at Joey Luna's Roebiks in West Los Angeles over two decades ago. Joey was the first to teach Michael to be an instructor and inspired him to the heights he's been able to reach in fitness.

Michael is UCLA certified, AFFA insured and an avid multi sport athlete. His love of adrenalin filled activities led him to compete in numerous marathons, wilderness triathlons and the 300 hundred mile team competition the Raid Gauloises, and then as a Team Captain for the inaugural Eco- Challenge competitions. Both consisting of endurance rock climbing, ocean kayaking, running, horseback riding, trekking, mountain biking and even camel riding (for the Middle Eastern Race!).
Michael Carson is based in Los Angeles and has dedicated his life to fitness. His motto –”Get fit, stay fit!”
