The first class in each section introduces the Writing paper with a quiz and an overview. The following classes cover each Writing task one by one using the PASS method: Process, Awareness, Strategies, Skills. Why not watch the video to get an overview of PASS? You can also visit my profile for more information. In each class we provide you with strategies, tips and techniques to manage each task and we engage you in the process to maximise your learning. You can watch the classes when you want, pausing them to carry out the tasks and consolidate your learning.You are also provided with extensive, downloadable resource material to take away and practise further. There are many links provided in this material to help you find free web resources to practise all the Writing tasks. How long you spend on the course depends on your needs and your willingness to put more work in. Furthermore, you are provided with ten guided writing tasks to carry out. They all have accompanying model answers which are annotated to help you identify exactly what you should do in essays, reviews, reports, articles, letters and emails.Finally there is a test. This test is designed to assess your learning during the course and to help you find your weaknesses and redirect you to parts of the course where you can improve those aspects. My aim is that you go into your exam with confidence and in a positive frame of mind, secure in the knowledge that you have learned the most effective tools and techniques to demonstrate your ability.
