In this tutorial I walk you through the process I use for building hi-tech set interiors for film. In real-time with full audio I construct a subterranean silo in SketchUp focusing on heavy industrial design elements and robotics.
I demonstrate the power of working with components and arrays in SketchUp to maximise modeling efficiency and move in Keyshot to rapidly generate realistic looking materials and lighting scenarios to create the look I’m after. Two renders are then imported in Photoshop and I show you how to create atmospheric effects, enhance lighting and mood to give a real cinematic feel to your concept art.
