You do not have to use the exact same brand as me but it is recommended. The colours are as follows:Caran d'Ache Pastel Pencils:802 French grey 10%901 Chinese white745 warm earth 40%746 warm earth 50%093 Violet grey808 French grey089 Dark carmine408 Dark sepia495 Slate grey506 Payne's grey 50%008 Greyish black036 Raw Sienna212 Chromium oxyde green232 Middle moss green 10%243 Light olive 20%017 Light reseda234 Middle moss green 30%719 Dark phthalocyanine green229 Dark green736 Brown olive 50%Pastel PaperThe paper I use is a Sand Coloured PastelMat Paper. This has sort of a sand paper like texture and gets brilliant results. If you are in the US then PastelMat might be a little hard to find, in which case we'd recommend UART 800 grit paper. Outline DrawingI provide you with an outline drawing for each portrait so that you do not have to draw the subject free hand. Trace this through to your paper using preferably a graphite transfer sheet like tracedown.Step by Step InstructionsI walk you through step by step with video instruction how to draw each stage.
