Description
Vector CANoe is a universal tool from Vector Informatik GmbH for the development, testing and analysis of entire ECU network of a Vehicle as well as individual ECUs. It is widely used by network designers, development and test engineers at OEMs and suppliers over the entire software life cycle of Automotive ECU from planning to the launch of entire distributed systems or individual ECUs. At initial phase of the the development process, CANoe is used to create simulation models which simulate the behavior of the ECUs. Over the further course of ECU development, these models serve as the basis for analysis, testing and the integration of bus systems and ECUs. This makes it possible to identify software bugs early and correct them in software. Graphic and text based analysis windows Like (Trace window, Data window, Write Windows, Graphics window & Statistic window) are provided for evaluating the results. The CANoe has features like Visual Sequence, Macro, Signal Generator and Signal replay to strengthen ECU testing. The tool contains the Test setup window for scripting and automated test execution. It is used to model and execute sequential test sequences and automatically generate a organized test report. The Diagnostic tool Set is also available within CANoe for diagnostic testing with the ECU. In this course Vector Demo version is used to explain the CANoe tool in details
