Description
This course is aimed at advanced users. I suppose you have some prior experience using Revit when taking this class. This class is focused only on one topic and that is Curtain Walls. We will discuss everything there is to know about curtain walls in Revit. I am using Revit 2024 version in this course. You will get many tips from my workflows on limitations and usability of different tools, because the fact that the tool is available in Revit, doesn´t necessarily mean that it is usable. At the end of this course you will understand how the Curtain Walls work in Revit and you will not be surprised by any exceptions and strange behavior Revit will try to throw at you.In this class you will learn:- what the curtain wall consists of- manual placement of curtain wall grids- automatic placement of curtain wall grids- dependent vs. Independent curtain wall grid- curtain wall join offset- curtain wall grid layout modification- system curtain panels- how to create empty space in curtain wall- custom created curtain wall panels- how to create openings in panels- behavior and exceptions in geometry cutting in Revit 2024- doors and windows in curtain wall- curtain wall mullions- corner curtain wall mullions- joins conditions for curtain wall mullions- profile families needed to create curtain wall mullions- how to create truly curved curtain wall- extra tips
