November 2, 1755 - Maria Antonia Josepha Johanna of Habsburg-Lorraine (Marie Antoinette) was born in the imperial palace of Hofburg in Vienna.
Antoinette was the 15th daughter of Franz I, Emperor of the Holy Empire, and of Empress Maria Theresa, Archduchess of Austria and Queen of Hungary.
Antoinette spent her childhood in Vienna, between the palaces of Hofburg and Schönbrunn.
