Prepare Yourself to Pass the Test of Adult Basic Education or T.A.B.E. Test
What you'll learn
Used by many adult education programs and trade schools.
The Job Corps use the T.A.B.E. to exit students from the academic portion of their trade school programs.
Home schoolers can use this course for their children's middle school and high school math program.
This course is a good prerequisite course for those studying to pass the G.E.D. exam.
Requirements
You will learn everything you need to know to pass the T.A.B.E. test. I begin with the basic math skills you will need.
Description
The T.A.B.E. Test is used by employers, schools, trade schools, adult education programs to evaluate adult learners who have been away from an educational setting for a few years. The Job Corps uses the T.A.B.E. Test to exit students from the academic portion of their education as they prepare to learn a trade. The T.A.B.E. Test has several levels:· Level L (K-1)· Level E (2-3)· Level M (4-6)· Level D (7-8)· Level A (9-12)The T.A.B.E. Test is very similar to the G.E.D. Exam but is easier.Passing the T.A.B.E Test is very important as test takers must wait six weeks after their first attempt and six months after all other attempts. This course prepares students for the T.A.B.E. Test at the A Level and provides all the instruction needed to pass this exam. Quizzes are included in this course to check that you understand each concept. Additional resources are provided to assist in your study and preparation for the T.A.B.E. Test. Some assignments are also provided to give students extra practice in preparing for their Test. The T.A.B.E. Test covers the following topics:· Number Sense· Mathematics Computation· Applied Mathematics· Measurement and Data· Number and Operations (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division)· Fractions· Decimals and Place Value· Geometry· Expressions· Equations· Ratios and Proportional Relationships· The Number System· Statistics and Probability· Functions· Algebra· Number and Quantity· Calculator Use
