An Heißgas- und Motorenprüfständen untersucht er die entwickelten Komponenten bestehend aus einem luftgekühlten Abgaskrümmer, Turbinengehäuse und Drei-Wege-Katalysator. Am Motorprüfstand weist der Autor schließlich das Potenzial eines luftgekühlten Abgaskrümmers zur Reduzierung der Gemischanreicherung für den thermischen Bauteilschutz aus.
