Practical Problems in VLSI Physical Design Automation

Practical Problems in VLSI Physical Design Automation by Sung Kyu Lim
English | PDF(True) | 2008 | 292 Pages | ISBN : 1402066260 | 8 MB

Practical Problems in VLSI Physical Design Automation contains problems and solutions related to various well-known algorithms used in VLSI physical design automation. Dr. Lim believes that the best way to learn new algorithms is to walk through a small example by hand. This knowledge will greatly help understand, analyze, and improve some of the well-known algorithms. The author has designed and taught a graduate-level course on physical CAD for VLSI at Georgia Tech.

Integrated Circuit Design

Integrated Circuit Design by Alan F. Murray
English | PDF | 1987 | 164 Pages | ISBN : 0333437993 | 14 MB

There are several excellent textbooks available that treat Integrated Circuit (IC) Design at a level appropriate to final year students, to practising designers or to postgraduates. Some of these advanced texts have an 'engineering' bias, and give a detailed treatment of the technology underlying integrated circuits. Others have a 'computer' science systems' leaning, concentrate on methods of IC design, and do not discuss the underlying technology beyond the barest fundamentals. These textbooks are all expensive, and their use is only justified in an advanced course, where they form one of the major (or even the major) text for the course.

VLSI Artificial Neural Networks Engineering by Mohamed I. Elmasry
English | PDF | 1994 | 335 Pages | ISBN : 146136194X | 27 MB

Engineers have long been fascinated by how efficient and how fast biological neural networks are capable of performing such complex tasks as recognition. Such networks are capable of recognizing input data from any of the five senses with the necessary accuracy and speed to allow living creatures to survive.

3-Dimensional VLSI: A 2.5-Dimensional Integration Scheme by Yangdong Deng
English | PDF | 2010 | 211 Pages | ISBN : 3642041566 | 7.03 MB

"3-Dimensional VLSI: A 2.5-Dimensional Integration Scheme"elaborates the concept and importance of 3-Dimensional (3-D) VLSI. The authors have developed a new 3-D IC integration paradigm, so-called 2.5-D integration, to address many problems that are hard to resolve using traditional non-monolithic integration schemes. The book also introduces major 3-D VLSI design issues that need to be solved by IC designers and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) developers. By treating 3-D integration in an integrated framework, the book provides important insights for semiconductor process engineers, IC designers, and those working in EDA R&D.
