This is the original version of The Complete Basic Course on DVD. It's divided into six Levels and is available in this three DVD set. Each level includes a guitar tab booklet. This is perfect for electric guitar but also works with acoustic. It doesn't just teach heavy metal. It's also great for classic rock, hard rock and blues guitar. Although this was recorded in 1992 it is still quite relevant. Yes, the Complete Basic Course 2007 is the revised version of this program. Still, there are a lot of great exercises and motivation tips here not found in the current program. It is recommended that you use this material as supplemental for today's program, The Complete Basic Course 2007 Revision.It's good enough that we didn't need to revise it for fifteen years. That's pretty good. How is it different from today's version? Well, we did learn a thing or two over those fifteen years. That's why we revised the course. But the cool thing about this version is, it's closer to our roots, and most students think it's a bit heavier. The exercises are a little more intense.
It doesn't matter whether you just want to learn to play guitar or to become a better guitarist. This course is easy enough for beginners yet challenging for advanced players. These are the guitar lessons that made us famous. The course is divided into twenty-four weekly lessons. Each lesson covers technique, theory, equipment pointers and motivation tips. We'll teach you how to set attainable goals and have a lot of fun achieving them.
The Complete Course 1992 DVDs utilize a menu system for easy navigation. You can find and repeat each exercise at the touch of a button. This includes six hours of video recorded on 3 DVDs with six guitar tab booklets which will be sent to your email address.
