learn a wide range of Chinese language quickly and memorably through beautiful Chinese poetry

This course, by far the most beautiful, in-depth course that I have designed among my seven courses published on Udemy, will teach you Chinese language, poetry, and poetry creation as well as the Chinese philosophical thoughts influencing poetry creation. My five-course language sequence published on Udemy in the past year, "college Mandarin Chinese On Your Own" is ranked no.1 in student review and sales in the Chinese language category on Udemy. Poetry is the most beautiful, concise use of a language, and the vocabulary of modern poetry is perfectly applicable for daily use. Learning poetry and poetry creation will allow you to acquire a language at its best and in a speedy, most impressive and memorable manner. The rhymed language (no matter it is the mechanical aspect of the rhyme or the rhythmic mood of poetry) and the startlingly original and beautiful use of language make the language in poetry easy to recite and highly memorable. I choose my own created poems short-listed and chosen for publication in American's poetry competition (one of them is "New Woman's Voices" series) to highlight the features of Chinese language, Chinese philosophical thoughts behind the poems and the creative inspiration and creative process of writing poetry. For each poem, I have made it into extremely beautiful video with pictures, music and my own recitation, which brings into resonance the artistic contagion of different mediums of art. For learning each poem, I will give three lectures. In the first lecture, I will lead you to learn the language in the poem. I will provide vocabulary list and teach you these vocabularies perfectly applicable to daily use and how to use them on daily occasion, I will explain to you the poem's literal meaning, and lead you to recite them. In the second lecture, I will explain in English the poetic meaning, philosophical thoughts and creative process behind each poem. In the third lecture, I will give you the musical video of the poem with my recitation and pictures (and subtitles of both Chinese and English version of the poem) to further impinge on you the aesthetic appreciation and understanding of the poem, and the memorability of the beautiful language. At the end of each section. I will give you some creative writing practice that allows you to use your learned language and creative process of making a poem. After learning the course, you will feel your Chinese language soar with your aesthetic delight in the ecstatic poetic flight. I am a professor of Chinese for 16 years at prestigious American universities, such as University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, College of William and Mary, Carleton College (for 9 years, ranked no. 1 in undergraduate teaching among American liberal arts colleges), and Hamline University. I have two PhDs in Chinese and comparative language and literature, published five academic books on Chinese and world language and literature, film and cultural study, and published quite a few poems with Chinese and American poetry journals. All the poems are reserved for my own future publication in books, so they are copyright protected, and please don't use them to submit as original, poetic works of your own. Thanks for your understanding!
