The perspectives on quality are explained, including delivery time, durability, packing, and customer service. The eight TQM principles are shared, along with the seven quality tools (7QT). The concepts of stratification, histogram, cause-and-effect diagrams (fishbone and Ishikawa), Pareto diagrams, scatter diagrams, control charts, and process capability are discussed. Learn about the seven steps in the Problem Solving Methodology and the Six Sigma Methodologies.
Lean and Kaizen Management. This ninth topic in the supply chain management course will equip you to perform Lean and Kaizen management. Understand the continuous improvement principles of both approaches. The categories of waste are explained, along with Value Added (VA), Non-added Value (NVA), and Necessary but non-valued-added (ENVA) activities.
