3D Total Textures vol.9 Release 2.0 "Ancient Tribes & Civilisations" contains 276 individual materials, comprising of over 1200 individual, hand-crafted texture maps. Every texture has its own unique colour map, bump map, specular and, in some cases, normal maps, alpha maps & Tiff files with built in alpha channels.

It all started in June 1999 as a project to make a simple 3D resource site. . . . Then in July 2001 we released Version 2of the 3DTotal site,which was seen by 100,000 visitors each month. The latest figures show a tremendous growth to over 1.5 million monthly visitor sessions.
We have many updates and site improvements planned which will increase traffic and revenue, which in turn will be reinvested creating a cycle of continued growth for 3D Total. About 3D Total Textures vol.9 Release 2.0 "Ancient Tribes & Civilisations"
The Original v9 Collection : Ancient Tribes & Civilisations was created in 2005, utilising the best methods and technology of the time. Since then, techniques and technology have both moved forward, and here at 3DTotal we felt that although the original collection is still widely used and highly regarded amongst artists and studios of all calibers, it was time for an update. This DVD is comprised of photographed and hand-painted textures created and tiled by professional texture artists from around the world.
This version contains 276 individual materials, comprising of over 1200 individual, hand-crafted texture maps. Every texture now has its own unique Colour map, Bump map, Specular, and in some cases Normal maps, Alpha maps & Tiff files with built in Alpha Channels. There are 73 textures with Alpha maps and 16 textures with Normal maps. We have only included Alpha and Normal maps where we felt they were necessary. In most cases, the Bump map gives an equal result.
