Eliane's fourth trick: the magic of the moment. "Slow Motion" is the name of the new album by the singer / songwriter and pianist Eliane Müller. The Lucerne woman presents twelve tracks that get under your skin. The successful sound producer Thomas Fessler sat at the sound controls - the 27-year-old has composed with songwriters from all over the world. "Slow Motion" is incredibly complex. And enthusiastic from the first to the last sound. Three years have passed since the last album "Bright Lights". Three years in which the artist took the time to think about her music, to work on her vocal technique and to refine her piano playing. A proverbially healthy decision: Because the new album is even more Eliane, both musically and personally.

For "Slow Motion", the young singer has signed the gifted guitarist and star producer Thomas Fessler (Adrian Stern, 77 Bombay Street, Bastian Baker and more). But not only the producer has changed, also in the songwriting Eliane has gone new ways. In the fall of 2015, she spent half a year traveling to Nashville, New York, Berlin, and London, where she met several composers with whom she wrote ad hoc songs. Talents like the American Dillon Dixon, who composed for Don Felder of the Eagles, were just as involved as the German Basti Becks, who wrote the song "Unser Zeit" for the 2016 Olympics. The influence of other companions and countries is unmistakable on the new album, for example in the country-inspired Heimwehlied "Dear Home", a musical postcard to Switzerland. Opening up one's soul life to a completely different person was not always easy for Eliane in these writing sessions, but all the partners were passionate about it.

Thomas Fessler mastered the difficult task of finding a common thread and a fitting musical garment for the 12 stylistically different songs. Eliane has contributed a lot. Never before has she become so involved in the production of an album, in the creative process, in every detail. "Working on the last albums with Georg Schlunegger has made me more musically sensitive over the last few years, and I've learned a lot and can now have a say in the production," says the singer. The inspiration for the lyrics was found in Eliane's own diary, which she does not do on a daily basis, but often, especially when traveling and during vacations. So she tells her fans authentic, exciting stories in the midst of life, with which the listener can identify.

"Slow Motion" brings together a dozen wonderfully emotional songs. The desire evoked in the title track for holding on to the moment touched. At the same time, she is astonished that Eliane does not want to capture such moments with her cell phone. The artist is convinced that you can not enjoy special events through a phone. Slowness instead of quick snapping, authenticity instead of real time. The album contains more than just the typical Eliane ballads, it always surprises. Sometimes the texts are edgier, sometimes their voice wanders from the fine depths to astonishing heights. In order to get these vociferous results, producer Fessler also grabbed the bag of tricks: He left Eliane standing on a wooden stick. This distracted her so that she unconsciously and naturally reached the desired high tones. The first single "Flawless" is quite modern. The song is a first taste of the new album. This title is true for what you can say to the whole record - "slow motion" is a huge piece of music. Predicate: Listen and enjoy.
