Released in 1970 during the stopgap between Stand! and There's a Riot Goin' On, Greatest Hits inadvertently arrived at precisely the right moment, summarizing Sly & the Family Stone's joyous hit-making run on the pop and R&B charts.

In the Wind is the third album by the American folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary, released in October 1963, a few months before the arrival of the Beatles heralded the British Invasion. The lead-off single of Bob Dylan's "Blowin' in the Wind" sold a phenomenal 300,000 copies in the first week of release. On July 13, 1963, it reached number two on the Billboard pop chart, with sales exceeding one million copies. It spent five weeks atop the easy listening chart. The second single from the album, "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right", another song by Dylan, peaked at number 2 on the Adult Contemporary chart and number 9 on the Pop Singles chart. At the Grammy Awards of 1964, their recording of "Blowin' in the Wind" won the Best Folk Recording and Best Performance by a Vocal Group.

Peter, Paul and Mary is the first album by American music trio, released in 1962 on Warner Bros. Records. It is one of the rare folk albums to reach US#1 - staying for over a month. At the Grammy Awards of 1963, their recording of "If I Had a Hammer" won the Best Folk Recording and Best Performance by a Vocal Group Grammies.

For Boogie Chillen', Audio Fidelity went back to the original 1948-1954 recording session tapes of these "Detroit Blues Masterpieces" for the SACD edition. The only exception will be the title track since recording tape was not in use in 1948 at the United Sound recording studio in Detroit when it was recorded. In that case, "Boogie Chillen'" was transferred from the surviving 78 RPM acetate record. The SACD compilation and remastering work for the album was done by Steve Hoffman at Kevin Gray's AcousTech Mastering Studio with Lon Neumann serving as the DSD Technician on the remastering session.

This collection, remastered for SACD, covers the Zombies' short and tasteful career, spanning their 1964-1967 years for Decca Records, and their single album, the classic Odessey & Oracle, for Epic Records in 1968. Two versions of "She's Not There" are included here, one the so-called "stereo underdub" version that lacks the snappy drum overdub that gives the superior single version its crisp, edgy feel. There are also two mixes of "Time of the Season," the familiar version and an alternate mix that features a little more organ in the verse sections.

Michael Alden Hedges was an American composer, acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter. Hedges' first two recordings for Windham Hill - Breakfast in the Field and Aerial Boundaries - were milestones for the acoustic guitar. Aerial Boundaries was nominated for a Grammy Award as Best Engineered Recording.

Rage Against the Machine is the debut studio album by American rock band Rage Against the Machine. With politically themed, revolutionary lyrical content, the album artwork was notable for featuring a graphic photograph of Thích Quảng Đức performing self-immolation. Coincidentally, the release date for Rage Against the Machine was on November 3, 1992, the same day as the 1992 United States presidential election. Rated number 24 on Rolling Stone's list of "100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time", the album peaked at number 1 on the US Billboard Heatseekers chart and number 45 on the US Billboard 200 and has gone on to achieve a triple platinum sales certification from the RIAA in the US. Multiple publications have ranked it as one of the best albums of the 1990s. It was ranked 221 in Rolling Stones updated list of 500 greatest albums.

Evil Empire is the second studio album by American rock band Rage Against the Machine. It debuted at number 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart with sales of 249,000 copies, and the song "Tire Me" won a 1996 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance; "Bulls on Parade" and "People of the Sun" were nominated for Grammys for Best Hard Rock Performance. On May 24, 2000, the album was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

East-West is the second album by The Butterfield Blues Band led by Paul Butterfield, originally released in 1966 on Elektra Records. It was recorded at the famed Chess Studios on 2120 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago. It peaked at #65 on the Billboard pop albums chart, and is regarded as highly influential by rock and blues music historians.

Olias of Sunhillow is the first studio album by English singer-songwriter and ex-vocalist in the progressive rock band, YES, Jon Anderson. It is a concept album which tells the story of an alien race and their journey to a new world following a volcanic catastrophe on their home planet. Anderson wrote and performed the music himself.

Blade Runner is the soundtrack album for the 1982 film Blade Runner, composed by Greek electronic music composer Vangelis. It is mostly a dark, melodic combination of classical composition and synthesizers which mirrors the futuristic film noir envisioned by director Ridley Scott. The original soundtrack release was delayed for over a decade, until 1994, despite the music being well-received by fans and critically acclaimed - it was nominated in 1983 for a BAFTA and Golden Globe as best original score. The soundtrack is regarded as a historically important piece in the genre of electronic music.

Magazine is the third studio album by the American hard rock band Heart. It has an unusual history in that the first release in 1977 was an unfinished version not authorized by the group. A second authorized version of the album was re-released in 1978. The album was certified platinum in the US and Canada.

"Leon Russell" is the debut solo album by the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Leon Russell. It followed his debut with the Midnight String Quartet and a production by Russell and Marc Benno billed as the Asylum Choir.
