    Nobuyuki Tsujii was born blind due to microphthalmia. From an early age, he exhibited exceptional talent and musical ability. At age two, he began to play "Do Re Mi" on a toy piano after hearing his mother hum the tune. He began formal piano study at the age of four. In 1995, at age seven, Tsujii won the first prize at the All Japan Music of Blind Students by the Tokyo Helen Keller Association. In 1998, at age ten, he debuted with the Century Orchestra, Osaka.

    Nobuyuki Tsujii's "Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 3 — Tchaikovsky: The Nutcracker" is
    a new classical album, released in early 2026 (or late 2025), featuring the challenging Rachmaninoff concerto with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Domingo Hindoyan, alongside solo piano transcriptions from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite and other Russian works, showcasing his virtuosity in both orchestral and solo settings.

    The 2025 Music Awards Japan, part of the Music Awards Japan series, is the inaugural award ceremony to be held at Rohm Theatre in Kyoto on May 21–22, 2025. It is organized by the Japan Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association (CEIPA), an organization founded by five major Japanese music associations. Japanese broadcaster NHK announced it would broadcast the second day of the awards show, while both days would be live streamed on YouTube. Hiroe Igeta, Kasumi Mori, and Atsushi Yanaka hosted the first day of the ceremony, and Masaki Suda hosted the second day.

    Nobuyuki Tsujii (辻井 伸行, Tsujii Nobuyuki) (also known as Nobu Tsujii) is a Japanese pianist and composer. He was born blind due to microphthalmia. Tsujii performs extensively, with a large number of conductors and orchestras, and has received critical acclaim for his unique techniques for learning music and performing with an orchestra while being unable to see.
