Pianist Kim Joo-sang entered Germany at the age of 17 and became the youngest student at the time to graduate with honors from the Bachelor of Music course and Master of Music course at the Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin under the guidance of Eldar Nebolsin. His teacher Eldar Nebolsin described him as “a serious, dedicated, passionate pianist with musical talent and solid technique.”

Afterwards, he graduated with excellent grades from the PhD in Music Performance program at the University of Leeds, School of Music.

During his studies, he studied piano pedagogy with Konrad Engel and chamber music with Gabriele Kupfernagel, Jonathan Aner, and Birgitta Wollenweber. In 2019, he received a scholarship from the German state scholarship DAAD-Promos (Deutscher Akademische Austauschdienst) to attend the Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg, where he received a diploma from Russian piano virtuoso Dmitri Alexeev.

Earlier, he was invited to a concert by excellent Korean groups commemorating the 24th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Russia, and performed at the Moscow Tchaikovsky College Concert Hall. He also participated in the Moscow Tchaikovsky International Master Class and received the highest score, a Diploma, from Natalya Shokhireva.

He participated in the Salzburg Mozartum Summer Academy and received the map of Andreas Weber and Andrea Lucchesini.

Dmitri Bashkirov, Richard Braun, Oleg Poliansky, Ekaterina Mechetina, Bernd Gozke, Bjoern Lehmann, I listened to and learned from various musical opinions by participating in master classes by Elena Margolina Hait, Konstanze Eickhorst, Christoph Lieske, and Peter Lang.

In 2022, he won second place at the Franz List International Piano Competition in Spain, and won third place at the Clara Schumann International Competition in Brussels, Belgium, and won first place at the Buzoni International Music Competition hosted by the Italian Buzoni Orchestra.

He is an artist of the Spanish KNS Classical album, and he is active in the release of " MOSAIC " album and Europe. He is the representative of Fantasia Label in Korea. Guidebook> published. The album " Chopin: Eternal Melody " released in 2025 on the studio label is released in Japan through the Tokyo Mplus in Japan, and the showcase is scheduled for Tokyo Tower Records.
