Marrakech is dusty, ramshackle, chaotic and hot. At times it’s blunt, dishonest and intimidating. It can be bothersome and irritating. But we absolutely love it. Why? Because it is quite possibly the most effortlessly experiential city that we have ever visited. Unlike many other destinations we have had the pleasure of travelling to, it doesn’t need to try hard to put on a show.
