It's the middle of the night and I try and push the panic from
my mind. I don't know what's keeping me from sleep, but I feel
hot, my pulse is throbbing and my throat parched. I look over
to Susan, her delicious form gently snoring next to me. I get
up to drink some water from the tap, go back to bed, snuggle
up to her and she groans in her sleep. She's never been one
for spooning and I resent that. It's been six months since my
previous love nearly ended my life and I have to admit I've not
been particularly content.
