Scudiero is a progressive metal band formed in 1994 in Sweden with only one album released in 1999 at Z records named Walking through mirrors. The music offerd by Scudiero is melodic progressive metal who relies more on vocal arrngements rather then fall on some wankery instrumental passages like many prog metal bands. The album sounds tight with nice moments - great vocal arrangements and nice atmospheric keyboards and good guitar riffs. Nice effort by this unknown band who sadly disbanded a couple of years after this release. One of those prog metal bands that doesn't sounds like hundred copies of Dream Theater.

Imperial Quartet is the gathering of four improvisational musicians that have been accomplices for many years. The project came to light in the beginning of 2010. Based on a supple, generous, solid and on-alert upright bass/electric bass and drum rhythm, the band leans on the singularity of the undeniable coexistence that has united the saxophone players for over 10 years. Between the two of them, they share familie of saxophones from sopranino to bass, developing an original and unexpected sound pallate. This uncommon variety of pitches allows the exploration of new musical territory through the compositions proposed by the ensemble.

The dynamite soprano Najee ranks among the most popular of the post-Grover Washington, Jr. Smooth Jazz sax players. He hit on a commercially successful formula with his 1986 debut Najee's Theme and has stuck closely to it ever since. His recordings are full-scale productions, employing large casts of drum programmers, vocalists, and keyboardists to back up his vapory soprano sax and flute melodies.

Najee's 2012 release The Smooth Side of Soul features more of the saxophonist and flute player's laid-back, romantic, and funky contemporary jazz. Included are such stand-out cuts as Najee's collaboration with R&B vocalist Phil Perry on the club-ready "Just to Fall in Love," as well as the quiet storm track "First Kiss," featuring keyboardist Jeff Lorber.
