For Langgaard it became his opera, Antichrist, which was also the original title for Strauss An Alpine Symphony. Coupling Langgaards Prelude to Antichrist with Strauss An Alpine Symphony, this album explores the composers disparate ideological interpretations of the Antichrist in expansive, thought-provoking live performances, superbly played by the Seattle Symphony. With naturalistic imaging, depth of field and dynamic range, all Seattle Symphony Media recordings have been engineered to audiophile standards and aim to capture as realistically as possible the sound of the orchestra performing on the Benaroya Hall stage.

Simply put, this is a very decent four-disc collection of the work of guitarist Grant Green. It features tracks from his many albums as a leader and some as a sideman with others, such as Lee Morgan, John Patton, Baby Face Willette, and Sonny Clark. His early-'60s sides are here along with most of his defining cuts from the '60s, from hard bop to soul-jazz to ballads to gospel – everything most fans would ever want is here, including his late blues sides recorded in the bars of Detroit in 1970. While Green's own albums can never be replaced, this is a solid portrait of one of the most influential jazz guitarists in history.

Uses the latest remastering which was used for "The Complete Album Collection." The liner notes include new Japanese translations of lyrics. Released on the Black Friday edition in 2013 Record Store Day brouhaha, Bob Dylan’s Side Tracks is a 30-track journey into the deeper cuts of the legendary musician’s catalogue. In essence – It stands as an alternate history, a left-of-center greatest hits collection from an artist whose best songs sometimes are the stray cats and orphans left as B-sides or recording room scraps. Most everything here has appeared elsewhere on compilations like the incomparable Biograph, but by stripping the record of Dylan’s well-known songs, it provides a deeper look into his metamorphosis from nasally folk artist to his current status as a gravel-voiced elder statesman.

Rosetti’s symphonies, concertos, chamber works, oratorios, and masses exceed 400 in number; more than half of these were published in the composer’s lifetime. He was praised and rightly so, I might add as one of the most popular composers of the period. His music displays a strong sense of form, contrapuntal finesse, adventurous chromaticism, and imaginative instrumentation. His scores were further commended by his lyrical talent and frequent flashes of humor. But Rosetti was not without his musical faults.
