These previously unreleased live May 1968 recordings from The Electric Theatre in Chicago can be regarded as works in progress. In real time in front of an audience, Tim (accompanied by an unidentified bass player and his trusty sideman Carter C.C. Collins on congas) is basically thinking out loud as he moves from one musical and/or lyrical idea to another during this Chicago performance. Mastered by Bill Inglot, the songs include early versions of “Sing A Song For You”, “Gypsy Woman”, “Dolphins” and “Happy Time”.

There is plenty of darkness on Sansone's first album in five years. From the title to the stark black-and-white graphics, the murky lyrical themes, and gritty, stripped-down, bass-free trio performance featuring Anders Osborne's distorted guitar, Sansone drags his gutsy blues-rock through the swamps around his New Orleans locale. It's as tough, raw, and powerful a collection as he has recorded. The three-member format also leaves plenty of room for his riveting harmonica, which he displays in both unplugged and electrified settings. Any sense of the upbeat, party atmosphere that dotted his earlier work is erased.

Jocelyn B. Smith was born in Queens, New York in 1960. Her parents recognized her passion for music early and Jocelyn started classical piano lessons at the age of five. Through her classical training she got more and more interested in 'Soul' music. So in the early 1980's Jocelyn started performing and touring with artists such as ELO, James Brown, Ellen Foley, Rick James and many others.

Orsino's Songs is Clare's eagerly awaited second album on Candid Records - the content of which is even richer and exudes more warmth than ever. Again Clare is accompanied by her regular band made up of the UK's top mainstream musicians, Martin Litton on Piano; Trevor Whiting on Reeds; Nils Solberg on Guitar, John Day on Bass and Rod Brown on Drums.
