Mammoth Mammoth are an Australian hard rock/stoner rock band that formed in 2007 in Melbourne. The current line-up is vocalist Mikey Tucker, guitarist Marco Gennaro, bassist Kris Sinister and drummer Frank 'Bones' Trobbiani. The band independently released their self-titled debut EP in June 2008 through their label, Golden Triangle, and followed this with a full-length album titled "Volume II: Mammoth" in August 2009. In November 2012, their third album Volume III: Hell’s Likely was released, and after good sales and recognition in Europe were signed by Austrian label Napalm Records. Mammoth Mammoth's sound has been likened to "Motorhead doing mushrooms with Black Sabbath backstage at a Butt Hole Surfers concert".

The Troggs' debut British LP was substantially different, and distinctly inferior to, their first American long-player (Wild Thing), although eight of the songs appear on both records. The tracks unique to the British edition are all covers: "Ride Your Pony" and the obscure "The Kitty Cat Song" (both taken from Lee Dorsey), "Louie Louie," and Chuck Berry's "Jaguar and Thunderbird." And none of them are so hot. "Wild Thing" is the highlight of the disc, and the rest of the set is a mixed bag, peaks being the primordial power of "From Home" and "I Just Sing," as well "Jingle Jangle," the first of Reg Presley's tuneful ballads. The vaudevillian "Hi Hi Hazel," on the other hand, is a lowlight. There's no "Lost Girl," "With a Girl Like You," or "I Want You," all of which made the U.S. Wild Thing a better counterpart to this release, although this didn't prevent From Nowhere from rising to number six in the British charts.

Though the name "Schoenberg" makes some people cringe, the Schoenberg piano concerto is a wonderful and highly expressive work. Though composed in the 12-tone style, it contains the same degree of lyricism and rhythmic drive that other, non-12-tone pieces have. Ax gives this concerto what it deserves- a highly sensitive performance that shows the concerto is a true piece of music rather than the product of a mechanical compositional process.

A wonderful set of recordings, full of subtlety and expressiveness. The performances of the Brandenburg Concertos are the best overall set I've ever heard, particularly Brandenburg Concerto No1. In other recordings of this concerto either the string section or the wind instruments are often lacking, however in this recording there is a great sense of cohesiveness which makes the music sound like a conversation between the instruments.

Created in 1988 in Moutier, in the Swiss Jura, Galaad died at the beginning of 1997, leaving two orphan albums, "First February" in 1992 and especially "Vae Victis", album which, in 1995, makes recognize the group with bigger scale, especially for its innovative qualities in the progressive genre. Galaad gives this style - truly popular in the 70s - a note of renewal. The poetic texts in French are melted in metal and groove, the group explores the pop rock by rendering it a unique form. Songs are of full of shifting moods, aggressive singing, complex rhythms, soaring guitar solos, fantastic Moog lines, and beautiful pastoral flute and piano duets. Another group in the new wave of French neo-progressive bands.
