Aditya Ong Trio - 44 (2025)

Aditya Ong Trio is a piano trio formed in 2013, and based in Surakarta, Indonesia with members : Aditya Ong on Piano, Laurentius Bob on Double bass & Electric Bass, and Okvan Dwi Pramudya on drums, and later succeeded by Eliezer Robbynata on Drums.\n\nAditya Ong's composition was inspired by few moments that happen in his daily life and is translated into a music composition. The trio also performs some traditional Javanese tunes (most of them are Lagu Dolanan or Javanese children songs) and arranged them with new touch, without leaving traditional music's element in it.\n\nTheir first album, #Introducing… was published on March 30th, 2020 and was nominated for the Highest Indonesian Music Awards, AMI Awards in 2020 for best jazz album category. \n\nTheir 2nd album "It's a New Life" was released in May 21st, 2021 with their new formation, including Robbynatta on drums and is supported by great Educator and guitarist, Ganggeng Yudana and another young and talented guitarist, Alfado Jacob. This album was nominated for AMI Awards 2021 for best Instrumental music production category.\n\nTheir 3rd album which entitled "32" will be releases in July 7th, 2023, and still with Eliezer Robby on drums and Laurentius Bob on Bass. This album will feature Daniel Ryan on tenor saxophone, and also with guitarists Ganggeng Yudana and Alfado Jacob. This album feature original compositions from Aditya Ong with more varied approach from inside and outside musical aspects.
