Composer in constant rediscovery, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco never as in this period has attracted the attention and interest of valiant virtuous and refined musicians. Among these, definitely the guitarist Angelo Marchese, a musician able to give life and soul to this repertoire of the '900 that shows not only an author of the first magnitude of the international composition but who goes to rediscover alongside well-established masterpieces such as the Suite Escamarran , authentic gems like the Passacaglia dedicated to Pope Roncalli or the brilliant game of Variations through the centuries.
Marquis is particularly good at emphasizing both the guitar nature of these pieces and their ability to transcend the instrument itself, digging in the folds of each page in search of the soul of each piece.
