The Aquascape project was founded in 2004 by Moscow-based musicians Andrey Kostomarov, Anton Salikov and Valery Gorick from Sochi. With many years of experience in live underground music, the trio felt an urge to bring their inner imagination and creativity to the vast fields of intelligent electronic music. Being a studio project in the first place, the colleagues then started focusing on the infinite worlds of sound design and creation of deep, multifaceted and emotionally rich melodies. Aquascape's music has often been applied in scientific and naturalistic films which encouraged the musicians to stay true to this concept and develop their songs in a way that goes well along with film and documentaries. Sunrise In Fog is Aquascape's debut release on Tiger Grass Records.
