Crust is a psychedelic rock band based out of Cranford, NJ. They combine elements of psychedelia, progressive rock, blues, and world music into their sound. They have been acclaimed to remind people of the powerful textures of bands such as Rush, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and other classic psychedelic and progressive rock bands of the 60's and 70's, while successfully creating their own tasteful, fresh, and completely organic tone. The band was formed by Bobby Shock (Vocalist/Bassist) and Johnny Burns (Drums,) and currently features Gary Guitar (Electric Guitar).Tracklist:
Crust was founded on New Years Day of 2017, and have been performing steadily all around the NJ music scene ever since. They have performed at many staples in the community such as The Saint of Asbury Park, Crossroads of Garwood, Brighton Bar of Long Branch, Dingbatz of Clifton, and many more venues all across the state. The band has also gone on a midwest tour in 2017, performing in Colorado at the famous Pioneer Inn of Nederland, and also have played shows in Nebraska and Michigan.
In the small window of 9 months, Crust has managed to write and record their self titled EP "Crust," released in April 2017, and have recently just released their first LP "Sag City Bullshit," in August 2017. Their thoughtfully crafted studio albums can only be surpassed by the energy of their live performances, always leaving their audiences with a memorable, entertaining, and exciting experience.
