The excellent singer Izabela Kopeć presents the effect of his several-year-long artistic and research work devoted to the works of the composer from the first half of the twentieth century, Ludomir Michał Rogowski. The artist spent the most important years of his creative career in emigration, creating in the center of the then cultural life which was Paris. In turn, the last period of his life, Rogowski spent in Dubrovnik, in almost monastic seclusion.

This album is an overview of the composer's works created over 50 years in Poland, France and Croatia. It is worth mentioning that this is the first ever phonographic item devoted to the work of L. M. Rogowski.
On the first album of the album "Songs & Fantasmagories" we find songs that are a reflection of the composer's musical and literary inspirations. We listen to these recordings in intimate recordings made together with the pianist Ewa Pelwecka and the violinist Michał Lisiewicz.

The second, only 15-minute album contains a 5-part form "Fantasmagories", where Izabela Kopeć is accompanied by the Orchestra of the Grand Theater of the National Opera in Warsaw under the direction of Łukasz Borowicz.

Lyrical mezzo-soprano singer, backed by a richness of emotions and elation with interpretations, is an ideal transmission of the character and specificity of Rogowski's works. Izabela Kopeć sings lightly and lightly. Its performances do not affect the genre's weight, carrying a very communicative message that is also accessible to jazz and popular music fans.

While the first record is a collection of songs of various character, the "Fantasmagories" cycle, which fills the second disc, is saturated with the climate of transient fantasies and de-visioned visions. It's good that despite the possibility of placing the entire program on one disk, it was decided to divide the material into two separate plates placed inside the aesthetic box in individual covers.

Ludomir Michał Rogowski was one of the most interesting composers of the first half of the twentieth century. However, today his work is wrongly in the shadow. Thanks to this release, his music will reach many listeners for the first time.
