This is CD premiere of 2nd album by great but very underrated US hard rock band from New York. This excellent record was released in the end of 1972 by RCA Victor and just like debut LP (from the same year) should be described as blues-based, guitar-dominated and very energetic rock music inspired by Led Zeppelin, Free, Humble Pie and Mountain, based on catchy guitar riffs, great vocals, fine keyboards and very solid rhythm section. It’s hard to find weak track on this album! Unfortunately, this badly promoted record went completely unnoticed and (after some demo recordings made for unreleased 3rd album) the band split up in 1973. This CD has been carefully remastered from the original, analogue source and sounds really great!

Excellent hard rock from Syracuse, N.Y. Should appeal to fans of Thunderbox/Street Rats era Humble Pie. While the band can definitely play, laying biting slide guitar over a funky bass groove on "Nightcrawler," and howling out a roaring lust anthem on "Cara Lynn," they really don't benefit from too much slickness. Like Cactus or Black Oak Arkansas, they were best when they tore it up in down 'n' dirty fashion, as Whiskey Woman amply demonstrated. The addition of electric piano helps a little on the swampy, Creedence-ish "Mojo Conqueroo," and they whip up a hot 'n' nasty, shoutalong version of "See See Rider" that's not quite as deranged-sounding as their take on Roy Orbison's "Candy Man" from their debut, but it's pretty raucous. Absolute recommended to die-hard '70s hard rock cultists.
