This is easily one of the best Led Zeppelin bootlegs ever released, this is the type of recordings Atlantic Records are not allowing the general public to hear officially. Any Port In A Storm was recorded on 22 January, 1973 at the Old Refectory, Southampton University in the city of Southampton, England. This performance was done a few months before the band were to release Houses Of The Holy and features a number of songs being introduced to the audience for the first time. It sounds like it was recorded at a tavern or pub, with the kind of intimacy generally reserved for smaller groups. The sound quality is superb, as it is said that Page had recorded it with every intention on releasing it. It never did. It is nice to hear Led Zeppelin play with little to no fanfare but perform in a manner that still sounds brilliant. This CD was released in 2007 through The Godfatherecords.
