Miguel Ángel Pulido Bermejo - Kimera, El Musical (2019)

The Kimera show was created by the image school "Karmen Sánchez" in 2015 and represented in the Imperial Theater of Don Benito for the benefit of the Association "Por ellos" as a sample of the work done by the students of the school, and as a means to excite and motivate students by taking what they have learned in the classroom to a real space such as the scene, in addition to being the actors themselves.

In this new edition Kimera acquires a new dimension in the musical format with the intention of promoting culture and education in the town of Don Benito.

With an artistic team made up of students from different institutions: The Cultural Association of "Scarlatti", the School of Image "Karmen Sánchez", the School of Dance "Pablo Reyes", the Children's Choir of the Don Benito Choral Association and a orchestra formed by professional musicians together with the invited artist Ana Morínigo Ramos, the Kimera team brings to the stage a script and original music with environmental values ​​on the care of nature and the protection of the environment.

The musical is full of fantasy with the interaction of magical characters who try to make man aware of the need to protect and make the planet sustainable. The magic and colorful created thanks to body makeup and decorative hairdressing that will be performed in more than 50 actors, make Kimera a beautiful and exuberant show. All the students involved, as well as the composer Miguel Angel Pulido, the invited artist Ana Morínigo, the School of Image, Aesthetics and Hairdressing "Karmen Sánchez", the school of Ballet "Pablo Reyes", The Children's Choir of Don Benito and the Association Cultural Scarlatti participate voluntarily in Kimera, ceding their time and their work for free to this beautiful educational and cultural show.
