Selah Sue - Reason (Deluxe Edition) (2015)

Selah Sue is in an exciting and thrilling new phase of her career. After launching her very successful self titled debut album in 2011, the singer is planning the release of new material after years of touring and writing. It is still astonishing to realize that her big, raspy voice comes out of a cute, small, blonde Belgian girl. The contrast between her speaking in between of the songs and her singing is huge, but that is part of the charm watching her. I remember visiting a concert by her in 2011 in Paradiso and it is obvious that she is now even more confident and free on stage. She just shines the whole way through and it is clear that she enjoys every little bit of it and this enthusiasm is contagious, judging by the good vibe in the audience. I for one am waiting for that second album and would love to hear those tracks again live after the release.
