The Dark Tenor - Alive - 5 Years (2019)

Since 2014, The Dark Tenor has been inspiring as a border crosser between classical and modern music. The American singer and songwriter integrates world-famous classical themes into the current sound of rock and pop songs and inspires young people and classically non-affine listeners. His music is characterized by brute sounds, epochal shows and filigree emotional moments

"I have an incredible journey behind me," the artist sums up the past five years. "The Dark Tenor started as a project in which I could fuse all my different passions. Over the past few years, it has become a vision of making classical music accessible to all. Out of the elitist corner, into the mainstream." On many tours through Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as with gold-plated and chart-placed album releases, the artist was able to transfer his magic to the audience and enthuse a large number of people

"'Alive - 5 Years' paints a wonderfully honest picture of my live concerts", the artist describes his album. "We have captured unique moments that can never be heard on a studio album and bring them from the stage to my fans as a thank you for their loyalty. My band and my team made great recordings."

And The Dark Tenor adds one more thing. Together with the standard album, the limited 2,000-piece anniversary Fan Box is released. "For the Fan Box I went through the complete The Dark Tenor archive and found many beautiful moments that I would like to share. The CD-Booklet contains partly unpublished photos of all past tours, which made me smile here and there. The rare 'Access All Areas' passes of past tours awaken many memories. And for the 5th anniversary, I had The Dark Tenor crest redesigned. It can be found in the loop scarf of the fanbox as well as on the key fob and the lanyard, which are of course also included in my fanbox. There is also a DVD with unreleased live videos of the songs Fade, Change and many more. The Fan Box is a fantastic collection of memories from the past five years."

A very special highlight awaits five fans, because five fanboxes each contain a Lifetime Concert Ticket with which the owner can spend the rest of his life at any The Dark Tenor concert worldwide (Ticket is valid for tour concerts, standard ticket conditions and is not transferable). "I'm really curious which five fans will come to my concerts forever and ever," says The Dark Tenor with a laugh
