Dream is the 1993 debut CD by singer/actress Althea Janairo, who is better known under her pseudonym Tia Carrere. First known in the film Wayne's World, Carrere surprised many fans when her debut was more pop oriented than the rocker she portrayed in film. She would continue making music before doing songs which stayed true to her childhood in Hawaii. which included a role as one of the voices in the Disney animated feature Lilo & Stitch. This is more true to what Carrere is about, not the rocker people wanted her to be. This was released by Reprise because they knew a good thing going, a/k/a "they wanted to see if it would make them money." It didn't.
