About Ana Caram:
Sultry singer Ana Caram melds Brazil's rich history of song with American jazz finesse. Caram casts a new light on the bossa nova with her light, sensual vocals. No less a talent than the late Antonio Carlos Jobim encouraged her to go to New York in the late '80s. It was there that she found her success. Chesky Records signed the budding songstress soon after seeing her performing with jazz saxophonist Paquito D'Rivera at the JVC Jazz Festival. She has since recorded seven albums for the label.
