"Mysterious Traveller" is the 4th studio album of Weather Report and was released in 1974. This album marked the end of bassist Miroslav Vitouš's tenure with the band. Vitouš was replaced by Alphonso Johnson. Another addition to the line-up is drummer Ishmael Wilburn. Greg Errico was the drummer for the tour between the previously released Sweetnighter and this album, but declined an invitation to be a permanent member of the band. The record is the band's first that predominantly uses electric bass and incorporates liberal uses of funk, R&B grooves, and rock that would later be hallmarked as the band's "signature" sound. Also, the more restricted compositional format became evident on this album, replacing the more "open improvisation" formats used on the first three albums.

The title track of veteran saxman Walter Beasley's latest jaunt into funky, groovy, and super-sensuous territory and his debut on Heads Up International has a brilliant and amusing anecdote attached. When he started making the album, he had just started seeing a new special someone, so it made sense to call the album For Her (and sing "I would give my life for her" on the graceful, soprano-driven title track) as a tribute. Halfway through the recording process, however, he broke up with "her" but because this "her" inspired the emotional ups and downs of the rest of the project, he kept the title. First, Beasley really digs her (the bouncy, disco-fied jam "She's All That," produced with sizzle by Chuck Loeb). Then they're getting down to the throbbing "Coolness," and waking up to a gentle "Good Morning." Later, he's wistfully nostalgic (the seductive "Remember When") and needs a bit of "Grace" to get through the heartache before acknowledging, as soulfully as can be, that "Things Change."

Here is a great soulful funky album with Roy Ayers from the mid 90's, and he have a special guest invited to these sessions too, I'm talking of the fantastic James Moody that play some soprano sax, even if Harold Paris Robinson is the mayor sax player on the album, yeah everyone that like soul gonna enjoy this album too a lot, and it is fantastic to hear that Roy Ayers really could make some great music in the 90's too when a lot of 60's and 70's musicians really trap themself in the 90's machinery, yeah listen to this album and you'll understand what I mean with great soul of the 90's. The nasté ending on No More Trouble should be that way so it ain't nothing wrong with the file at all.

"The First Minute of a New Day" is an album by American vocalist Gil Scott-Heron, keyboardist Brian Jackson, and the Midnight Band - an eight-piece musical ensemble. It was released in January 1975 on Arista Records. Recording sessions for the album took place in the summer of 1974 at D&B Sound in Silver Spring, Maryland. It was the follow-up to Scott-Heron's and Jackson's critically acclaimed collaboration effort Winter in America. The First Minute of a New Day was the first album to feature "Winter in America", the title track of Scott-Heron's previous album which was not featured on its original LP release. The album was reissued on compact disc by Scott-Heron's label Rumal-Gia Records in 1998.

"Passion Dance" is a 1978 live album by the jazz pianist McCoy Tyner, his fourteenth release on the Milestone label. It was recorded in July 1978 at the Live Under the Sky festival in Tokyo, Japan and features predominantly solo performances by Tyner, with two tracks including Tony Williams and Ron Carter. A second album from this concert, "Counterpoints", was released in 2004.
