Barsotti was trained as a composer and conductor by George Byrd. He then studied at the Richard-Strauss-Conservatory in Munich and completed a pop music education with Harold Faltermeyer.In the meantime, he has released over 90 cinema and television films, commercials, numerous records, DVDs and various pop albums. In 2002 he published the first comprehensive sound Library Ethno world for ethnic instruments. Among his great successes are the film music for die Päpstin, Das Wunder von Bern and Germany. A Summer Fairytale.
