"Dark Days" is the 2000 single by American artist/producer Josh Davis, known under the pseudonym DJ Shadow. Released on 26 September, 2000, this was created as a theme song for the documentary film about those who live in the railway tunnels of New York City. Shadow did new mixes for a few of his older songs but "Dark Days" was done specifically as something new.

Pre-Emptive Strike is a 1998 compilation album by American artist/producer Josh Davis, known under the pseudonym DJ Shadow. Released on 13 January, 1998, it features many of his singles he did before the release of his debut album, Endtroducing and his then-latest single, "High Noon". This CD also features a bonus disc of various Shadow songs mixed by DJ Q-Bert called Camel Bobsled Race, which had been released in UK as a stand-alone disc.
