Spanning nearly 50 minutes of high-octane roots music across 11 driving tracks, this high-fidelity document stands as a defining monument to the gritty resurgence of late-1980s and early-1990s roadhouse blues archaeology. Anchored by the blistering, virtuoso harmonica work and commanding vocals of frontman Pete McMahon alongside the stinging, razor-sharp guitar leads of Terry Mulhauser, the band delivers a fierce sonic blueprint that seamlessly marries traditional Chicago shuffles with grease-stained jump-blues rhythms and hard-edged rock-and-roll attitude.

The Kingsnakes are one of the most talented Blues bands from the city of Syracuse, New York. The Kingsnakes were the hottest ticket around during the 1980's and were called on to open up for many great Blues acts who passed through the Northeast, such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Lee Hooker and Savoy Brown. The band also accompanied John Lee Hooker during many of his east coast dates and Pete McMahan, Vocals/harmonica, spent time on the road with Savoy Brown. Kenny Baker & Deacon Jones, from Hooker's band, worked with the Kingsnakes on a few projects and would sometimes join the guys on stage in Syracuse.
